Class Warfare

Senator Bob Menendez form New Jersey seems to think that everyone in the middle class should have the ability to afford everything, at least from what I gather from his comments during the Senate Banking Committee's meeting with Bernanke. He and Schumer should try to live on the median wage in the United States and then they can complain.

Volunteer That Money!

As I watch Kudlow and Company from 12/20/06, I hear the whines from Dean, Jared, and Quentin about wage gaps and lower tax rates on the rich. I look at taxes in the following manner:


It is the minimum I have to pay. So the rich could always choose to send more to the government and so can anyone else. I choose not to send any more than what is required. If you think the government is so good, then send them more money.

Stop The Jail

Even though we have two websites for the campaign to stop the jail in Independence, KY, I figure I could throw the two sites a few bones on this blog. Mr. Deters asked for ideas that he might not have produced in the packet he passed out at Simon Kenton High School. While I attended the meeting, a lady behind me suggested the Jillian's site. With the county having set aside $40,000,000 for this jail, looks like a site such as Jillian's with a DOM of what seems to be FOREVER would be an easy choice.

I am looking at the constitutionality of creating a new county. Garry Edmondson called the idea ludicrous. Of course, that man stood in my driveway before the election and played me "like a harp from hell." I have a feeling he will not be in my neighborhood again.
